In partnership with Jerusalem-based ALYN Hospital, Israel’s leading rehabilitation center for children, adolescents, and young adults with disabilities, the Keren Malki Equipment Lending Center (ELC) provides long-term, free-of-charge loans of essential home-care equipment. Families can access walkers, standers, positioning aids, and other vital mobility tools, ensuring children receive the support they need at home.
While Israel’s Ministries of Health and Welfare are responsible for supplying such equipment, their bureaucratic processes can be slow and challenging for families in urgent need. The ELC bridges this gap—offering immediate solutions for children with severe disabilities who require mobility assistance without delay.
Originally launched with a different partner organization in 2022, the program transitioned to ALYN Hospital in 2024, strengthening its impact. Since its inception, the ELC has facilitated thousands of equipment loans, giving families the resources to care for their children with dignity and independence.
